Role Overview
Location: APAC Region or Germany with APAC working hours
Develop and execute strategic sales plans: Identify and target key accounts within the banking sector, create account-specific strategies, and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently exceed quota.
Lead the APAC-market entry: Develop a strategic plan for expanding our business in APAC, with a GTM approach that prioritizes focus areas based on opportunity.
Expert negotiation and closing: Skillfully navigate complex negotiations, involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers, to secure win-win agreements.
Partner ecosystem engagement: Leverage and manage relationships with key partners to expand reach and drive joint sales opportunities.
Customer needs, feedback and market intelligence: Conduct analysis to understand the strategic and operational challenges faced by prospective customers; Gather market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform product development and GTM-strategies. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization.
Thought leadership and advocacy: Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and webinars. Deliver compelling presentations to large audiences, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership in the fintech and sustainability space, particularly as it relates to APAC.
Proven track record: 7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise-level clients in the APAC banking sector. A consistent history of exceeding sales quotas. Experience in sustainability in a plus.
Fintech expertise: Deep understanding of the retail and small business banking industry, its challenges, and the role of technology in driving transformation. Familiarity with the latest UI and UX trends, regulatory landscape, and emerging trends.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
Relationship builder and Partner management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within large organizations, including partners and prospective customers to drive sales opportunities and expand market reach.
Self-starter and independent: Highly motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and proactively generate new business.
Fluent business and conversational English. Fluency in an APAC language is a strong plus.
